Met cognitieve gedragstherapie (CGT) leer je om anders te denken over lastige situaties, waardoor je, je anders voelt en anders leert gedragen.
Zowel tijdens de behandeling als in de thuissituatie voer je oefeningen uit met betrekking tot gedachten en gedrag. Je krijgt inzicht in hoe denken, voelen en doen invloed hebben op mekaar.
Cognitieve gedragstherapie gaat ervan uit dat problemen beïnvloed en in stand worden gehouden door iemands gedachten en gedrag.
